About melbPT

melbPT was born from the notion that current solutions to finding transport services could be much quicker and easier.

The product is built on industry standards, utilises familiar prompts for users, and natively supports all screen types and resolutions.

melbPT is accessible to anyone, and familiar to everyone.

Project Features

Some of the key features of melbPT.

Visit Website

Easy to find nearest stops

melbPT uses in-built browser support for location-awareness. For older browsers not supporting this, it offers a complementary search functionality.

Simple, responsive design in a speedy package

Compatible with any browser on any device, melbPT uses a colour scheme with which Melbournians are readily familiar. Pages are typically loaded in < 500ms over wifi.

Skipped stop detection

The ability to check where a train is stopping is paramount; without visual cues as to which stations are skipped, passengers can miss this altogether.

Real-time information for the user

melbPT lets you share with your friends the real-time position of your tram or bus.
